Sovereign was a sentient Reaper and the flagship of Saren Arterius, a rogue Spectre. The gigantic ship was such a powerful artificial intelligence that the geth worshipped it as a god. Though Commander Shepard and their crew destroyed Sovereign, the ship was only the first step of the Reapers’ larger invasion of the galaxy.
